It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Petty (Sierra Vista, Arizona), born in Elmwood, Tennessee, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, H. D Petty and Mammie Petty. He is survived by: his wife Rita M. Petty; his sons, James M. Petty of Knoxville, TN and Kevin R. Petty of Bartlesville, OK; and his siblings, Clarence, Letcher, Caria, Florence, Frances, Helen and Pauline. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his numerous nieces and nephews.
