He is survived by: his wife Marjorie L. Burns; his children, Will Burns, Bryan and Beverly Thiel; his grandchildren, Brilynn and Breann Gonzalez; his sister Elsa Pittman (Tom Pittman); his nephew Eric (Mary); and his niece Abigail. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
