He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Taft Cooper and Martha "Virginia" Dixon Cooper; and his sisters, JoAnn Moody and Linda Kay Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mora Cooper; his daughter Leslie Taylor (Chuck); and his grandsons, Ryan Clowser and Chad Clowser (Cait).
