He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kays, Sr. and Virgia Griffith Kays; and his sisters, Wilma Jean Parks, Iva Mae Barnum and Janice Carol Clearwater.
He is survived by: his son Paul Michael Kays of Whetstone; and his brother Joe Kays of Indianapolis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hatfield Funeral Home (830 AZ-92, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Southern Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1300 Buffalo Soldier Trail, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, honoring Paul's legacy of service and commitment.
