He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Ellingson and Edna Ellingson (Larson); his brother Stanley Ellingson (Joanne); his stepchildren, Gary and Dawn Lawrence; his brother-in-law LeRoy; and his mother-in-law Edna Brummond.
He is survived by: his wife Karen A. Ellingson; his siblings, Paul and Janice; his children, Sarah Vallier (Scott) and Clinton Ellingson (Stephanie); and his stepsons, Greg Lawrence (Diane) and Steven Lawrence. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren 5 nieces and nephews as well as 10 great nieces and nephews.
