She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jerry Phillips and Christine Phillips; her daughter Sylvia Lynn Ruffin; her siblings, Charles Phillips, Richard Phillips, Ronald Phillips, Gerald Phillips and Geraldine Phillips Hawkins of Suitland; and her husband Jacob. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and a host of friends.
