He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie; his daughter Valentina Fontes; and his daughter-in-law Veronica Fontes. He is survived by: his children, Lorenzo Jr., Jerry, Letty Thomas (David), Christy Szczepanski (Richard), John, Roxanna Slater (Dan), Martina Ochoa (Bobby), Catalina Bianco (Greg), Paul Fontes and Brandon Fontes. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
