He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Watson and Annie Ruth Tumpkin; and his brothers, Theodore, Roy and Carl.
He is survived by: his son Doctor Christopher Daniel Tumpkin of Ft Carson, CO; his wife Carolyn; his children, Steve (Holly) and Angela (Ryan); his grandchildren, Devin, Jadyn (JaMes), Cristan "Dani", Lauryn, Corey, Tayana (Josh), Malachi, Hazel, Cameron, Olivia and Graclyn; his great grandchildren, Parker, Nala, Judah, Esther, Emma, Blythe and Mila; and his siblings, Rita and Tony. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hatfield Funeral Home (830 AZ-92, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shiloh Christian Ministries (1519 S Ave Del Sol, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635). The military honors will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
