He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ebert and Clara Ebert (Meyer). He is survived by: his wife Deborah; and his children, Douglas Ebert (Marlei), Gordon Ebert (Angela), Kenneth Ebert (Naoko) and Meridith Caryl (Daniel). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
