He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Nelson Keidel and Helen Pauline Baker Keidel; his wife Kathyleen; his daughter Terry Lee Keidel; and his siblings, Cecil Eugene Keidel, David Martin Keidel and Linda Sullivan.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Keidel of Amarillo, Jacob Keidel of Winnemucca, Nevada and Nancy Diaz (Jesse) of Borger; and his brothers, Dale Keidel of Kansas and Phillip Keidel of Kansas. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
