It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Weller (Sierra Vista, Arizona), who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Weller to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Theodore Weller and Beatrice Irene Weller (Teeple); and his brother Dennis Ray Weller. He is survived by: his siblings, Dianna L. Schweinfurth, Robert L. Weller, Mark A. Weller and Kevin M. Weller.

“Gary and I had become friends and had some really great conversations about life, cooked by the campfire it was great to get to know him. He was very smart and knew scientifically, exactly where to be for that center of totality :). I just followed his lead with my group that showed up the night before. I was really sad to see the obituary. Very sorry for your loss. I have several more photos from that trip. This platform will only let me send one of the time.”

I live in CO and I drove up on my own like Gary had from AZ. Him and I were campground neighbor.s We had such an awesome time that whole week. Here is one of the photos of Gary, my friends and I.
