He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Brane and Suzanna Brane (Thompson); and his brothers, Paul H. Brane and Donald E. Brane. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Brane; his sons, Michael Brane (Lori) of LaFontaine and Samuel Brane (Patricia) of LaFontaine; his grandchildren, Meghan Doyle (Bryce), Zachary Brane, Rachel Brane and Daniel Brane (Jordan); and his brother John R. Brane of Van Buren. He is also survived by one nephew and several nieces.
