He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Federico and Ana P. Acosta (Monge); his wife Maria J. Acosta (Valenzuela); his sons, Armando M. Acosta, Jr., Daniel A. Acosta (Priscilla), Xavier A. Acosta (Jenny), Jesus A. Acosta (Maegan) and Charlie A. Acosta; and his siblings, Humberto Acosta, Martha R. Morales and Yolanda Monge. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren.
