He was predeceased by: his siblings, Welsey Rima, Dennis Rima and Gordon Rima; and his stepfather Leroy A. Rima. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Gaston Loehr; his mother Jean Rima; his children, Chris Loehr (Jan) and Leigh Salgado (Valentin); his grandchildren, Max, Alex, Jaxon and Gigi; his daughter Molly Barney (Patrick); his grandchildren, Maisie and Brody; his siblings, Lori Rima (Bruce), Ron Loehr, Mark Loehr (Anne), Keri Hendry (Fred), Kevin Loehr (Wendy), Bruce Rima, Kevin Rima, Doug Rima and Patty Letellier; his extended family Michelle Peterson (Mark); his children, Walker, Wyatt and Adam Gaston; his grandchildren, Ethan and Ayla; his son Seth Gaston (Jessica); and his grandchildren, Riley, Huntley, Jesse and Ellee. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, siblings.
