It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Tessay Altaha (Show Low, Arizona), born in Cibecue, Arizona, who passed away on February 3, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her aunt Rebecca Tessay Altaha; her husband Lafe Altaha; her children, Edmund Altaha (Rosalyn), Monte Altaha (Maisie) and June Begay (Benny); her sisters, Effie Wright, Minda Tessay and Verina Browning; and her godchildren, April Boni and Lonnie D. Thompson. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
