In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Maria Rosela had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Maria Rosela may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Chavez; and her daughter Elizabeth Harrison. She is survived by: her children, Charles Chavez and Carolann Tortice. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church (1915 S Penrod Ln, Pinetop, AZ 85935).
