He is survived by: his wife Lydia Valencia; his children, Lawrence Valencia, John Valencia Sr., Mateo Valencia Sr., Robin Valencia and Richard Valencia; and his siblings, Miguel Valencia, Francis Valencia, Mary Alice Elizondo and Mary Jessie Valencia. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
