She was predeceased by: her mother Norma Anderson; her stepfather Walter Anderson; and her brother Christopher Anderson. She is survived by: her stepfather Walt; her husband Gary Schmidt of Sedona, AZ; her son Bruno Schmidt (Maria) of Copenhagen, Denmark; her grandchildren, Elliot and Mikala; and her brother Wally Anderson of Loves Park. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her honor.
