He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Leo E. Stenger and Hazel Stenger (Smith); his siblings, Thomas Stenger and Marilyn Stenger (Soisson); and his nephew Dr. Jeff Soisson.
He is survived by: his nieces, Lynn King (Soisson), Ellen Glover (Soisson), Judy Kaltenbacher (Soisson) and Dianne Warns (Soisson). He is also survived by 13 great nieces and nephews.
