He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Welch and Leone Welch; and his siblings, Joanne and Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Fran Welch; his children, Tim Welch (Lita Welch) of Denton, Kristine Welch-Miller (Brian Miller) of Beverly and Melissa Welch (Joe Machado) of Hickory Creek; his stepchildren, Allen Williams of Indianapolis and Melissa Kimmel of Waconia Minnesota; his grandchildren, Eden Laughner (Josh), Alex Welch, Nicholas, Luke, Josie Miller, Caroline, Noah Kimmel and Jacob Macy; and his siblings, John Welch of Dallas and Anne Welch Birney (Vince Emanuele) of Keshena. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
