She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Wilson and Elinor Wilson (Horner); her husband Buck Bennett; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Clemen and Margaret Dolan; and her sister Ann Garrett.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Orischak (Larry) of Scottsdale, Robert Bennett (Barbara) of Denver, Rebecca Dolan (Patrick) of Manchester, William Bennett (Roxann) of Elizabeth and Beverly Hansen (Patrick) of Phoenix, Arizona; and her grandchildren, Thomas Clemen (Renee), Elinor Dolan (Aaron Almeroth), John Dolan (Angie), Robert Dolan (Blair), Brett Bennett, Bradley Bennett, Matthew Hansen, Nathan Hansen (Allison) and Samuel Hansen. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Manchester, Iowa and the ALS organization in Des Moines, Iowa.
