He is survived by: his wife Luann Kolstad; his sons, Patrick Kolstad and Conor Kolstad (Caroline); his stepchildren, James Mathis (Eileen), Marietta Judas (Brandon), Alexander Mathis and Madeline Shultz (Deon); his grandchildren, Miles and Nadine Mathis; and his sister Suzanne Marsh (Craig).

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Roy's memory may be made to St. Jude or Shriners Hospital.
