He is survived by: his wife Leona; his children, Christopher Helland (Krystal) of Scottsdale, AZ, Michael Helland of Grimes, IA, OnaLee VanHeiden (Dale) of Lake Mills, Melissa Sorbo (Otis) of Waldorf, MN and Nicky Helland of Forest City, IA; his grandchildren, Piper Helland, Jareth Cross, Treize, Teyla VanHeiden, Gavin, Delilah and Lillian Sorbo; and his siblings, Richard Helland (Nancy) of Emmons, MN, Carolyn Thompson of Austin, MN, Judy Roslien of Moberly, MO, Wayne Helland (Ellen) of Scarville, IA and Karen Helland (David) of Springfield, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
