With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen J. Bixby of Scottsdale, Arizona, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on June 3, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold Goering and Opal Goering (Kabisch); her husband Virgil Martin Bixby; her daughter Jennifer Bixby of Scottsdale, AZ; her siblings, Richard Goering (Margaret) of Iowa City and Shirley Lyle of Greenville, SC; and her nephews, Brian Goering and Bradley Goering (Karen).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
