John Sanzo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Sanzo (Scottsdale, Arizona), who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ilario Sanzo (Caterina), Gregorio Sanzo (Maria) and Antoinetta Posca (Lorenzo); his brothers-in-law, Ralph Rigoli and Robert Saraco; his parents, Giovanni Sanzo and Maria Teresa (Rauti); and his parents-in-law, Giuseppe and Natalina Rigoli.
He is survived by: his wife Maria "Tita" Rigoli Sanzo; his children, Teresa Valadez (Gil) of Arizona, Natalie DeMeis (Andy) of Connecticut, Nancy Lang (Rich) of Connecticut and Giovanni Sanzo (Tracy) of North Carolina; and his sister Fiorina Sanzo (Italy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Mayo Clinic's Amyloidosis Research, a cause close to John's heart. Donations may be made payable to Gil Valadez or coordinated through one of John's children.
