He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cecil Clayton and Beatrice Mallett (Ullman); his wife Susan Mallett (Rognstad) of Scottsdale; the mother of his children Linda Miltenberger (Prager) of Lewiston, ID; his sons, Howard E. "Gene" Mallett, Jr. (Catherine) of Flanders, NJ, Eric S. Mallett (Laura) of Rio Rancho, NM and Scott C. Mallett of Portland, OR; his grandchildren, Nicole Mallett, Caitlin, Ryan Mallett, Mallory Herrera (Chris), Josh Mallett, Aubriana Mallett, Adam Mallett and Isabella Intidam (Samuel); his great grandchildren, Drizzt, Bruce Herrera and Robynne Intidam; and his sisters, Martha Sisler (late Charles, Jr.) of Weirton, WV and Mary DiThomas (Dan) of Dublin, OH..
