He is survived by: his wife Janet Simmons (Janie); his children, Samantha Simmons and G. Tom Simmons IV; his grandchildren, Taylor Voth, Jordan Voth, George Simmons (G. T.), Sophia Simmons and John Simmons (Jack); his sister Susan Harkins; his nephews, Brian Theobald, Jerry Theobald and Grant Theobald; his sister-in-law Andrea McVeigh; his nephews, Craig Vogel, Michaela McVeigh and Matt McVeigh of Omaha, Nebraska.; and his siblings-in-law, James McVeigh and Beverly Vogel.
