He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jake Litzenberger Jr. and Edna Litzenberger (Lenhart); his sister Janice Kanemoto (Ed); his niece Katie Leman (Michael Slater); his nephews, Keith Kanemoto Longmont (Kelli) and Scott Kanemoto (Beth); his great-nephews, Pierce Benard, Branton Benard, James Kanemoto, Klay Kanemoto and Kai Kanemoto; and his great-niece Sophie Kanemoto.

Coach Litz so loved the game that up until COVID, he would travel to China and other SE Asian countries to set up camps and coach.
