He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Edward Davis Prescott III (Dave) and Jennifer Prescott Boyle; his grandchildren, Davis, Kyle, Luke, Charles and Leah; his siblings, Cynthia P. Hedin and Richard D. Prescott; and his wife Virginia "Jill". He was also cherished by extended family and many friends.
