He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rose Deakin and Gilbert Deakin; his spouse Genie; his children, Jennifer Garvey (Gene), Michael Deakin (Kathy), Scott Deakin (Cindy), Brian McCluskey and Kevin McCluskey; and his grandchildren, Kasey Golden, Andrew Deakin, Kara Golden, Madelyn Deakin, Lily Deakin, Blake Deakin, Kyle Deakin, Jakob Garvey and Shannon Garvey.
