She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sampson and Evelyn Sampson; and her brother John, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Clayton Carmean (Hank); her daughters, Evalyne Gonzalez (Gregory) of Alexandria, Virginia and Laura McKenzie (Bradford) of Frisco, Texas; her grandchildren, Carlyn (Karl), Stephen (Madeline), Connor, Clayton and Mary Grace; her great grandchildren, Gavin, Logan, Charlotte and Lucy; and her siblings, David (Patricia) and Marcie (Alfred). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
