He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Olive Dronen and Hubert Alfred Halverson; his daughter Karen Halverson; and his granddaughter Sara Halverson. He is survived by: his wife Irene E. Halverson; his son Joel Halverson; his daughter-in-law Mona of Hawthorne, Florida; his daughter Linda Melara; his son-in-law George Melara of Scottsdale, Arizona; his siblings, Jewel Kristiansen and Donald Halverson; his great grandchildren, Juniper and George; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Griffin and Odin. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
