He is survived by: his wife Katherine; his half-brother Bo Kirkland; his grandchildren, Jeff Calender (Joanna), Jana Clifford (Doug) and Michael Schlemmer (Marissa); and also, June Calender (John), Janet Morrow (late Richie Rivera) and Duane Schlemmer (Theresa).
