With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine (Cathie) Irene Schira (Scottsdale, Arizona), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 27, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cromie and Irene Cromie; her husband John; her son Ronald; and her daughter-in-law Deborah.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Patenaude (Jim), Robert Schira (Marina) and James Schira; her daughter-in-law Lee Ann Schira; her grandchildren, Julie Pilon (Brad), Nicole Kelleher (Mike), Christopher, Ashley Schira, Angeline and Robert Schira; and her great grandchildren, Bailey, Kenzington Weahkee, Isabella Pilon, Anthony Schira, Brady, Carson and Katelyn Kelleher.
Although she didn't suffer from COVID, she was a victim, as she failed dramatically during the lockdown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Mary's Food Bank or St. Vincent de Paul.
