He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vincenzo Rago and Maria Rago; his wife Raffaela; his sons, Richard (Concettina), Carmen Jr. (Rebecca) and Derek (Jill); his grandchildren, Seryna, Skylar, Kristiana, Adam, Haiden and Ella; and his siblings, Immaculate (Ben), Frances (Jim), Fausto (Linda) and Adrienne (Tony).
