It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Skarperud-Nelson in Scottsdale, Arizona, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Hanson and Dorothy Hanson (Seeley); her husbands, Craig Skarperud and Howard Nelson; her son Christopher; her niece Sarah Hanson; and her nephew Scott Eggers.
She is survived by: her sons, Chad Skarperud (Jessica), Matt Skarperud (Laura), Ryan Skarperud (Dania) and Tim Skarperud (Stacey); her stepmother Ann Hanson; her brothers, Danny Hanson and Tim Hanson (Jane); her grandchildren, Alex, Jacob, Zachary, Carson, Emma, Madison and Samantha Skarperud; and her sisters-in-law, Liz Eggers (Jerry), Karen Hendrickson, Bryce Nelson (Shauna), Blair Nelson (Tamie), Beth Nelson and Brandy Starkweather (Emery). She is also survived by family members and countless treasured friends.
