“We are all shocked and saddened by the tragedy that has fallen upon the family. It is times like this that puts our faith to the test; I feel that is why we have to use our faith to see us through the grief and the tremendous despair that looms over us all. All of our memories and stories about Anthony stand as a testament of the loving and compassionate young man Anthony is and always will be. Our memories will not fade but will last throughout our lives and we will see him again when it is our time to join Anthony and all the others that have left us. Although Anthony and I did not have a close interactive relationship that we could enjoy on a daily basis, I was always greeted with a huge smile and a big hug; those are the things I have to cling to and the things that will keep Anthony alive in my heart. The Bible says "Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted." I pray that God will bless us all and give us the strength to see us through this very difficult time. To my nephew Cesar, I have not the words to express my sadness and although I don't know exactly what to say it is my hope is that you know you have my support and that I'm thinking of you and the boys. To my Beautiful Sister, Anthony’s Grandmother, My thoughts and prayers will be with you forever.
