He was predeceased by: his father Deacon James Griffiths; his brothers, James Edward and Daniel Kelly; his nephew Dustin Edward; and his grandparents, Mae, Leonard Sanders, Margaret and Roy Griffiths.

He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Griffiths; his wife Kimberly Read; his son Shannon (Crystal); his grandson Waylon; his daughter Lindsay Hughes (Brian); his grandsons, Dylan and Jaxon; his sisters, Erin Koch (Robert) and Mary Galliford (Timothy); his mother-in-law Gloria Read; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Shafranski (Larry) and Scott Read (Theresa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and a large extended family.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services are to be held at a later date to be determined.
