He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Christensen and Sidney Glen Blank of Minneapolis, Minnesota.; his grandparents, Andrew and Ada Christensen; his uncle Frankie Ricks; and his siblings, Dennis Ricks, David Ricks and Suzy Ricks.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his daughter Jessika; his son-in-law Ron Glendenning; his sons, Joe and Shawn Hess; his sister Cathy Martson; his sisters-in-law, Vicky Ricks and Karama Ricks; his granddaughter Ashley Gregg (Chris); his great grandchildren, Parker Gregg and Remi Gregg; his grandson Ian Hess; and his great grandchildren, Randy Whilhite, Brad Bynum and Jubil Tom. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, and nieces, as well as many Ricks nephews and nieces.
