It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucia Bonilla Ruona of San Tan Valley, Arizona, born in El Paso, Texas, who passed away on December 12, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sixto P. Bonilla and Consuelo Bonilla; her sister Irene "Cookie" Garcia; and her brother-in-law Jesus "Chuy" Garcia. She is survived by: her husband Wilmer N. Ruona; her children, Wilmer "Willie" Ruona, Jr. and Tricia Bonilla Ruona (Edward Flake); her grandchildren, Tyler Ruona, Preston Flake and Marina Flake; her great grandchildren, Kaston and Breck; and her siblings, Victor Bonilla (Elisa), Raymond Bonilla (Joanne), Sixto Bonilla, Jr. (Rosie), Rosario Alvarado, Bertha Urenda (Robert) and Magdalena Herring (David). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
