He was predeceased by: his parents, Squire Johnson and Ruby Johnson. He is survived by: his sisters, Carol "Sissy" Rieck (Bruce) and Bonnie Pillers (Jon); his wife Connie Johnson (Chambers); his children, Bert Jr. (Shelly), Chris (Amanda) and Carolyn (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Ashley (Cody), David, Bert III, Alexis (Javier), Alyssa (Marvin), Christian, Danielle, Ryan, Maraye, Sienna, Avery and Kace; and his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Ezra, Isaac, Liam, Valerie, Piper, Aaliyah, Bentley, Addison and CJ.
