It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verde F. Salter Polk (San Carlos, Arizona), who passed away on February 27, 2020, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Irene Hooke and Joseph Goode; her husband Francis Polk "Punchie" of San Carlos; her children, Duane Goode (Shauna) of San Carlos, Leroy Salter of San Carlos, Irene Goode of San Carlos, Starlene Salter of San Carlos and Roman Hoffman of San Carlos; and her siblings, Keno Goode Sr. of San Carlos, Kathleen Goode of San Carlos, Dinah Noline of San Carlos, Mardela Goode of San Carlos and Kinley Goode of San Carlos. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren.
