He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Irving; and his brother Eugene Irving. He is survived by: his parents, Dewey Irving and Bertha Irving (Lockwood); his son Robert Irving, Jr.; and his siblings, Betty Irving, Beverly Irving, Rachel Moody and Peggy Massey. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
