He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Don Gillespie and Mable Gillespie of Gary; his wife Lynn Gillespie; and his children, Cheryl Harodecki (Joe), Stacey Sprague (Glenn) and Cory Gillespie (Jessica). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
