He is survived by: his wife Winnie Jewel Scroggins; his children, David Scroggins Jr. of Glendale, AZ, Evelyn Scroggins Oliveri (Lawrence Oliveri), Wanda Owens of Los Angeles, CA, Carol Scroggins Baylor of Tucson, AZ, Winnie Scroggins Moore (Kelley Moore), Toni Scroggins Miller of Tucson, AZ and Beverly Scroggins Cruz (Carl Cruz); and his siblings, Herbert Scroggins of Savannah, GA, Willie Earl Scroggins of Safford, AZ, Sheila Irvin of Phoenix, AZ, Mildred Scroggins King of Phoenix, AZ and Muriel Scroggins of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren, and a host of adoring relatives, cherished friends, and church family members.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Safford (1020 S 10th Ave, Safford, AZ 85546). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Safford Cemetery (400 Discovery Park Blvd, Safford, AZ 85546).
