It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Matthews Sr. (Safford, Arizona), who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold I. Matthews and Leora Barnett Matthews; and his siblings, Reubin and Christine. He is survived by: his siblings, Harold "Kermit", Gordon and Ila Mae; his children, David (Tami), Lara, Lynda (Kevin) and Larry; and his wife Nyla L. Thompson. He is also survived by 15 loving Grandchildren, and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
