He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. Ford and Alice J. Garrison (Ford). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Brown; his siblings, Jim, Gary, Russ, David and Dawna; and his pets, Maddie, Monty and Milly. He is also survived by nineteen nieces and nephews, thirty great nieces and nephews.
