It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosario L. De La Rosa in Rio Rico, Arizona, who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Rosario departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Rosario may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Rosario leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ruben P. De La Rosa; and her parents, Francisco Lugo and Carmen Lugo. She is survived by: her children, Jaime, Lourdes, Ruben De La Rosa (Irene), Raul De La Rosa (Lupita), Sandra De La Rosa, Adriana De La Rosa, Clarissa De La Cruz (Victor) and Daniel De La Rosa (Patricia). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Parish (272 N Rodriguez St, Nogales, AZ 85621). A Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (272 N Rodriguez St, Nogales, AZ 85621).
