Ray Garrett Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Garrett of Rio Rico, Arizona, born in Aberdeen, Washington, who passed away on December 27, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lourdes Garrett (Barreda); his sons, Michael (Violeta) and Jeff; his stepchildren, Lourdes Julieta, Alejandra and Jesus (Cristina); his sister Jodi Garrett; and his parents, Raymond Garrett and Shirley Garrett.

Ray passed peacefully with Lourdes and Michael at his side on Sunday, December 27, 2020, after succumbing to complications brought on by the COVID-19 virus.

Plans for a future memorial tribute will be finalized once gatherings are deemed safe from the spread of COVID-19. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Ray's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
