With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rafael Temblador of Rio Rico, Arizona, born in Los Angeles, California, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rafael left this world on December 29, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Claudia Jalomo, Nancy Escalante and Raphael Temblador; his grandchildren, Crystal Melara, Cody Jalomo, Cierra Jalomo and Quinnly Melara; and his great grandchildren, Amora Jalomo, Hazel Landeros and Jaziel Melara-Rivera.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Martinez Funeral Chapels - Nogales (891 W Mariposa Rd, Nogales, AZ 85621). The military honors was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1300 S Buffalo Soldier Trail, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635).
